Tonight I got to see some incredible artwork from the creative minds of Celebrate Life Through Art, an artist organization that consists of painters, photographers and all around amazing people. It was their 3rd Annual Art Show and Fundraiser at Glashaus, and the event raised money towards a scholarship for a lucky student from Monarch School San Diego. My sister's boyfriend was showcasing his art, so of course I had to make an appearance.
For an evening out, I decided on a sleek trench coat from H&M paired with my favorite shoes by New York Transit. The heels were easy to walk in (because who wants to be tottering around delicate art in 6-inch heels?) and the coat definitely gave off a cool, city-girl vibe.
Did I mention that I was able to score an art piece from one of the galleries? I am thinking of hanging it next to my watercolor print from Balboa Park's Artist Square. That way whenever I'm doing my homework, I could glance at my wall and feel inspired...or just have a valid excuse to distract myself.
Outfit: H&M trench coat (similar one here), New York Transit heels, Xhilaration peter pan collar dress (similar one here).
